Life…

Hey everyone!! 🙂 K.A here! I know, hard to believe…I’ve been gone for a while. Since January I guess..at least, that’s what my last post says… I’m sorry I haven’t been posting much at all lately. But more than that, I miss our long comment chats. I hope we can still have them. And I’m not going to be back for a long time you see… It doesn’t sound very good, saying this in a blog post but… I’m glad I’m not on here as much. Now hear me through…. I wish I would make more time for it, but I’m glad I’m not on it 24/7 like I was before. I hope I can get to posting at least once every couple weeks, but I just don’t know. I don’t even know how I can be SOOO busy! It’s crazy! Haha! I don’t even feel that busy… anyways, there was a lot going on before (as in 2016) that I wasn’t getting into, because all I ever did was blog. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very glad I have a blog, and I like blogging, but I was just spending TOO MUCH TIME on here. I was missing important things in the real world, and not spending much time at all with my family. I’m glad I’m doing that more now. SO… now I’ll stop ranting and get on with the post: What I’ve been up to.

So it’s burning season right about now, and the other day daddy went out to burn pasture. Because it was time to burn pasture for the guy that we take care of cattle for. Now if you don’t know why we burn pasture, it is because there is often so much dry grass, that when the cattle are brought to pasture, there is nothing to eat but dry grass, and they don’t gain hardly any weight off of that, so they can’t be sold for as much money. So we burn the pasture, leave the green stuff and let fresh grass grow, and then they can eat that and get real nice and chubby! 🙂 So daddy already burned pasture, but there were some parts that didn’t catch fire between creeks and stuff, so we lit them today. There’s this thing called a gas pipe, that you put gas into and flip it over so that the gas comes out one end, and then lite a little bit of grass on fire and then the pipe will sorta catch on fire (the end where the gas is spurting out) and then you drive around the patch of unburned stuff and it leaves a line of fire behind you! Kinda scary, but really cool too!! After that we came home and ate and then did dog chores. Then when I was doing my pig chores (they are SO BIG) I saw a lizard! I tried to catch him, but he was too fast. 😦 He had green legs and a brown/white back! We’ve had a lot of lizards kinda like that around our place in the last few years… we had like 5 baby lizards like that down by the barn a while back! But I haven’t seen them in a while. Anyways, after I failed at catching the lizard, I went and punched on the punching bag for a while! 🙂 It’s a good way to get your anger out! But I wasn’t angry anyways! XD Hehe! It was still fun though. That’s about all I did today, but I’m having a sleepover with my (awesome) friend later tomorrow! 🙂 We’ll call her P.B. Haha! She’s soooo cool! I love doing stuff with her. She’s also very tall, but younger than me.. makes me feel like a shrimp, but I always have to remind her that I’m older! Anyways, she’s really really fun. I can’t WAIT for tomorrow night with “P.B”. Haha!

Also some other things have happened lately that I don’t believe I’ve told you about! Such as….

WE HAVE MORE PUPPIES!!! They were born Feb 16th, 2017 and there are 5 of them! TOMORROW THEY ARE EIGHT WEEKS OLD THOUGH!!! AHHHHHH!!!! NOOO! They’re all going to the same person though. Except for Rossi! She’s OURS to KEEP! YAYYYYY!!!!The pups are out of Flare soooo.. SCOUT’S A GRANDPA! :O Weird…. XD HEhe!

Their names are Melvin, Auto, Feathers, Babe (Baby), and Rossi!! 2 boys and three girls! They’re SO GREAT! Feathers is very VERY fluffy! She’s definitely got long hair! 🙂 I don’t have a USB cable for my camera and I can’t change setting on the card to make it go to my removable drive, so right now my camera is technically out of commission. Whenever I get a new cord though I can hopefully put the pics on here to show to you!! 🙂 ***FOUR HOURS LATER*** EEK! I just figured out how to do it with the card!!! Here are some pup pics.

ALSO…… *drumroll please*

WE HAVE BABY GOATS!!!!! I know, I should have already told you about this buuuuut… I didn’t soo. 🙂 Anyways, we have 5 of them also! two girls and three boys. The two girls are twins and the others are singles. One of the boys is black with a white stripe on his back and white ears! HE”S SO CUTE! We haven’t named them except for the twins are Rufnut and Tufnut. 😛 Off of “How to train your dragon.”

The pictures of the baby goats won’t work… I’m not sure why. SORRY!

Also I still have 3 of my pups from last year to sell. (any of you want a 10 mo old border collie? *hint hint*) I have a girl and two boys. The girl is Zig and the boys are Zag and Bobber. They’re actually becoming quite well behaved and sweet! 🙂 Dad has one of his pups that he is trying to sell as well… Freddy. 😉

BINKY IS PREGNANT!!!!

YAAAY!!!!! She is SO HUGE! I think she’ll have them around the end of this month or beginning of May! I can hardly fit my hand between her belly and the ground, and if there’s any grass at all it just about drags!! :O She’s HUGE!!! I’m SO EXCITED AND NERVOUS AT THE SAME TIME!!!! EEEEEK! Also Baby Lena (our mare, Gadget’s mom) is pregnant!!! She’s due any day as well… Actually.. I think she was supposed to have a baby on April first sooo… :O YIPES! 🙂 haha!!!The pics will not work! PLEASE TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS IF YOU SAW THE PIG PICS!

AND WE HAVE A NEW ADDITION!!!!!!!

Autumn Rebel Joy! A horse! She’s a palamino yearling. She is one beautiful girl. She needed a home where someone would spend more time with her, so she’s our beautiful girl now! 🙂 Someone gave her to us. I hopefully can get pics of her to you soon too! 😉 I’ve only seen her a bit, because she’s not super close to the house, but I hope I can go up and say high soon!! 🙂
