Fantasy vs. Fiction challenge one

YAAAAAY!!! GO TEAM FANTASY!!!!!!!!!!! Yup, I’m on team Fantasy, as you most likely just guessed! Haha!!

Okay, so you might realize this is late, and yes it IS challenge one! I don’t know if it will count, but I’m thinking I might make a part two for challenge two..soo…. 😛 😀 Here ..

Here are the prompts I’ll use! 😛

The Lost Library: :

 :

Audrey

She opened her eyes to the bright surroundings and blinked, trying to clear out the blurriness. She was in a valley with trees on both sides. Compared to the dark, abandoned library she had previously been in, this was brighter than than the sun itself. Audrey wandered curiously through the beautiful valley, glancing at the crooked trees on each side. And to think, that she got here just because of trying to investigate on the lost library of Alexandra. A tingly feeling went up her spine as she wondered if maybe…no, it couldn’t be.. but…was she in a different…world? She walked toward a pink leafed tree on her left and out of nowhere there was a bright flash of light and she was somewhere else again. Now she was in a dark forest with trees everywhere. Limbs, fallen trees, and thorn vines littered the ground. She heard thunder and looked up just in time to feel raindrops on her face. She usually liked storms. But she was in a forest…with trees! Audrey ran forward, unsure of where it even led. Surely it led somewhere though! Then there was another flash of light, but when it faded away, Audrey was still in the forest. Well that’s odd… She thought to herself. She looked around to see if something was different and then screeched when she saw a figure beside her. She ran for the nearest tree, ignoring the lightning and thunder and heard a boy yelling behind her.

“Hey! Hey, it’s alright!” She heard someone say. But…it sounded like…her brother?

“Carson? Is that..you?” She asked the darkness. He walked into the darkness and pushed his brown hair out of his eyes.

“You just now got that?” He teased. She grinned, then frowned again and shoved his shoulder as she walked away from him. He upraised his palms and mouthed what?!. “And I thought you’d be happy to see me.” He muttered. “Whoa…what is this place Aud?”

Don’t call me that!” She complained.

Carson raised his hands in surrender. “Okay, okay. Why so touchy Aud?” He asked, then realized his mistake and quickly said “rey” She glanced back at him sadly. She couldn’t let him know how glad she was to see him again. It had been months.

“Audrey… I’ve missed you. It took me this long to find you…I thought that maybe…” He stopped, trying to keep his voice from breaking as he followed her. “Maybe… you’d be glad to see me … too.” He bit his lip and his eyes started to water up. Audrey stopped and hung her head. She turned around suddenly and ran to Carson, hugging him enormously. “I have missed you, Carson. I’ve missed you like awful!” She sobbed to her younger brother. He patted her back awkwardly. “How’d you get here anyway?” She asked him, stepping back.

“I should be asking you!” He said. “In other words…I have no Idea.” He said with a weak smile. Then he sighed. “Wait a minute…” He trailed off. They weren’t in the forest anymore. It wasn’t raining anymore. There weren’t any trees anymore. They were in a dark musty room again! But..this wasn’t the library. Carson looked down to see that he had on old ragged, ripped clothes, and Audrey was wearing a faded blue ripped dress. They were in an iron room. There were voices outside of the room and a man burst in. He started shouting at them rapidly, in a language that neither Carson or Audrey could understand. Carson understood enough to realize that they were prisoners in a castle. The next thing Audrey and Carson knew, they were being dragged outside and then…let go? This is getting weirder by the minute. Carson thought. But nevertheless, Audrey and he both ran deep into the forest, which eventually was the same forest that they had been in a while back. Weird. Carson had a feeling that they were skipping around in what happened. Or something…

Just then a man with a black flowing cloak jumped out from behind a tree and pointed an odd looking gun at Audrey. He smiled evilly and pulled the trigger. “NOOOO!!!” Carson yelled, jumping in front of Audrey right before the man pulled the trigger.

          • Awe, well you have sisters, right? I only have one and she’s 13 years older than me LOL! I’ve always wanted a little sister 🙂
Brothers can be pretty awesome and pretty annoying. I have one of each LOL! I feel like a lot of girls say they can’t stand their brothers just cause they’re boys and like its a thing to hate brothers, but they aren’t all bad! That’s probably why I try to show that in some of my stories 😉

          • Yup! WoW!!! Haha!!! 😛 I’m the youngest. I have two older sisters. 😛 🙂 Hehe!!! xD XD 🙂 xD 😛 Yeah…I can imagine they’re not all that bad. I just feel like they’d be sorta cool. You know? Hmm. 😥 Anyway, I don’t have any brothers, and if God wanted me to have brothers, then I would! So…I should be happy! 😉 😛 I know a lot of boys though! 😀 Some of them are close enough that they feel like brothers! 😛 😀

XD Hehe! Yes, we have goats! We loaned the babies to someone so that he could train his pup on them, and the babies ran away. So now we don’t know where they are! 😥 But there was still one at his place… Anyway, we still have 5 adult goats! 😛 😀 And then we have horses, and dogs, and chickens, and cows, and more dogs, and more horses! 😛 XD And baby horses, and LOTS of puppies, and calves… yeah! 😀 😛 Hehe! Oh, and one cat! 😛 XD Named Squeaky bob!!! Do you have animals? What are they’re names!? 😛

          • Awww, that’s so sad 😦
WOW! You have a LOT of animals! 😀 No, we don’t have any… Not anymore, anyway. My brother’s dog, Majesty had to be put down a couple years ago, so that was really hard… And then we had gotten another puppy last year, named Ella, but she didn’t work out too well, so we had to send her back. And a LONG time ago my brother and I used to have hermit crabs! I had one named Aurora and another named Sandy, but I can’t remember what the others were… One was Tommy, though, I know that! XD

          • I do know what it’s like to lose a dog though.. :/ And any other animal. I know that a dog is much more special, but here is a sad story of one of our animals: It was thanksgiving day and we were at out cousin’s house. When we got back, we figured out that three baby goats had all been born that night…and all died. A while later, ONE more was born. The only other one to BE born. It was in pretty good health. Not terribly long after it was born, it got out of it’s pen. And got killed. I can’t tell the details, but it was very very sad. :/ 😥 I liked the baby. We’ve also had a lot of calves die. Including one called ‘Charlie brown.’. He was a sweet thing, and you could ride him.

          • Yeah.. 😦 It was a while back though. And it’s part of having animals. Joy sometimes ends in sadness. It’s still not easy when an animal dies, but it’s happened so much, that I’m a bit more used to it…so it’s easier. :/ :/ Anyway, we shouldn’t talk about such sad stuff!!! XD 😛
